Interlibrary Loan Requests

Because RTHS belongs to the Reaching Across Illinois Library System, our students and staff may borrow materials from other libraries in the system.  Please follow the three steps below to begin your search.

Step 1:  Use the RTHS Library Catalog to determine whether the information you need might be found at RTHS.  Please ask LMC staff for assistance.

Step 2:  Visit PrairieCat to look for titles at other libraries in the Prairie Area Library System (including colleges and universities).  When you have found your desired item, fill out an Interlibrary Loan Request form and return it to Mrs. Jinkins or Mrs. Haggestad.  (AP Chemistry students should use PrairieCat FIRST for interlibrary loans.)

Step 3:  If PrairieCat doesn't have what you need, visit I-Share, a catalog representing Illinois colleges, universities, and special libraries.  When you have found your desired item, fill out an Interlibrary Loan Request form and return it to the basket at the circulation desk.  (Due to holiday time constraints, AP Chemistry students should use I-Share as a last resort for interlibrary loans.)
